Pittsburgh, PA, August 31, 2018 / VIQTORY, a leading military marketing and media company, is pleased to announce that it has signed a strategic partnership with the state of Wisconsin to attract military personnel and their spouses to live and work in the state upon leaving the service. Wisconsin is launching a $1.9 million national military marketing campaign, with VIQTORY and its flagship brands, G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse, playing a part in the initiative.
The Wisconsin veteran campaign is part of the state’s new $6.8 million marketing initiative aimed at attracting talent to fill current and future workforce needs. It is the first time the state has targeted military personnel and spouses with such a campaign, and VIQTORY is honored to play such a vital role.
“Wisconsin’s initiative to attract Veterans to the state is brilliant,” said VIQTORY CEO and 13th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (Ret.), Mike Stevens. “Not only do veterans make great employees, they have already proven that they are tremendous citizens.”
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) shares similar sentiments about the value of veterans.
“To maintain Wisconsin’s strong workforce, it is imperative that we continue to implement a proactive strategy to attract and retain people – including veterans – whose skills and passions align with Wisconsin’s career and quality of life attributes,” said WEDC Secretary Hogan. “WEDC looks forward to working with other state agencies and our many partners to increase awareness among veterans nationwide of the vast opportunities our state offers.”
A $325,000 media campaign in Wisconsin’s initiative to attract military veterans and their spouses to live and work in Wisconsin will include:
–Print ads in GI Jobs and Military Spouse publications.
-Social media posts displaying Wisconsin’s available jobs, benefits, resources and why the state is a great fit for transitioning military personnel.
-Build awareness through geo-targeted, dynamic messaging run by VIQTORY, around bases that Wisconsin delegates will visit in the United States and abroad, as well as additional bases.
